| RZD Logistics (a subsidiary of Russian Railways) and Azerbaijan Railways will develop the International North–South Transport Corridor. The partners agreed on a pass-through rate aiming to attract more freight traffic to the multimodal route. This route is starting in India, and passing through Iran, Azerbaijan to Russia and in the opposite direction.|
As of March, Far East Land Bridge (a subsidiary of RZDL) is launching an open/public train named East World Express with weekly departures from Duisburg. The eastbound route from Duisburg in Germany will reach out to the eastern destinations of Russia, the CIS region, China, Japan and South Korea with transit time varying from 14 to 21 days.
Due to the spectacular growth of FELB’s market share, February was marked as the month of launching new commercial offices, amongst others in Duisburg.
The UTLC group keeps working on international rail transit development. The new regular block train service from Shenyang (Liaoning province, China) to Hamburg was launched on 30 October 2015. The ceremony of train departure was held in Shenyang in the presence of the representatives of Shenyang administration and Liaoning province railway administration.
In the framework of International North–South Transport Corridor development JSC RZD Logistics, a subsidiary of JSC UTLC, launched rolling stock spare parts shipping form Russia to Iran.
