Russian Railways Logistics Delivers Humanitarian Aid to Flood-affected Amur Region.
Russian Railways Logistics delivered 28 tons of artesian bottled drinking water to flood-affected Amur region within one day due to high importance of the delivered cargo. The branch of Russian Railways Logistics in Novosibirsk selected the rolling stock, issued shipping documents and organized loading activities. In the framework of this project the Novosibirsk region administration and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Novosibirsk region participated as shippers.

In August 2013 the Russian Far East was affected by flood situation due to permanent torrential rains and rapid increase of the water level in the rivers like Amur, Zeya, etc. The situation gets worse day-by-day, over five thousand people are evacuated and relocated.
