Russian Railways Logistics joined to the new Russian-Chinese logistics project
JSC Russian Railways Logistics became a partner of an international Russian-Chinese logistics project. Pavel Sokolov, Russian Railways Logistics CEO and Zhao Wenmin, Zhengzhou International Land Port Development and Construction Co., Ltd. CEO signed a strategic cooperation agreement on the organization of international container train Zhengzhou (China) - Europe. The agreement was signed on November 27, 2014 at Zhengzhou (capital of Henan province) at the threshold of International congress on construction of the Chinese-European logistics hub in the Silk Road economic zone.

Both sides expressed their willingness to actively develop Zhengzhou - Moscow, Zhengzhou Europe routes (and opposite direction) through Russia, including with the use of a unified railway consignment note CIM/SMGS. The parties plan to develop cooperation in the field of container train service using the existing terminal network. The possibility of launching of logistics hub in Moscow has also been discussed. The participants agreed on comprehensive cooperation in the transport and logistics market of Russia and the Republic of Belarus. Also the agreement affects temperature-sensitive goods transportation in the winter on routes between China and Europe and Central Asia - China.

Rail transit development through the territory of Russia is a key goal of Russian Railways Logistics. In cooperation with a subsidiary company Far East Land Bridge Ltd. RZD Logistics launched a container train service on the new route China - Poland. Within the development of China – Europe transit Russian Railways Logistics cooperates with YuXinOu (Chongqing, China), along with DB Schenker, "Kaztransservice", CRIMT and Chongqing transport holding company.
