JSC RZD Logistics, the largest multimodal logistics operator in the CIS and Baltic countries, will become the partner of VTG Rail Logistics Gmbh – one of the leading logistics companies in Europe – on the track gauge of 1520 mm. Cooperation on the delivery of equipment parts to Amur gas processing plant being built near the city of Svobodny will become the first common project of the parties.

According to the achieved agreement, RZD Logistics in partnership with VTG Rail Logistics will provide the service of cargo receiver and is expected to organize terminal works, as well as to form shipment and provide road freight transport on the “final mile”. Moreover, RZD Logistics will escort the cargo in Far East ports of entry, including forwarding in ports, transshipment of cargo and its securing on rolling stock.

“There is a number of large-scale projects in Russia, similar to the building of Amur gas processing plant, where VTG Rail Logistics plays the role of the main logistics provider.
