RZD Logistics provided a range of services for railway transportation and delivery by a truck on the "last mile" of large electrical equipment - the stator of the turbine generator. The dimensions of the cargo were 5640x3960x3960 mm, weight 110 tons.

The Samara branch of RZD Logistics JSC carried out acceptance of the turbine generator stator and control over its loading onto a transporter car at the Allaguvat station of the Kuibyshev Railway. Then the Novosibirsk branch of the company delivered the electrical equipment by rail to the station of the Chemskaya West Siberian Railway and then by truck to the manufacturer for repair.

The Russian Railways Holding rendered a full range of services within the framework of a seamless door-to-door transport solution, including the development of a unique loading scheme, elaboration, and approval of the transportation route, transport component, dispatch support of a loaded transporter, as well as preparation of the necessary documents.

After the repair work, RZD Logistic will ship the equipment back to the installation site, as it was previously agreed with the client.
