High-speed train transport Talgo
In 2021, Russian Railways Logistics organized transportation of the Talgo high-speed train for Uzbekistan Railways. The cargo arrived by sea at the seaport of St. Petersburg. The assembled train was put on its own axle and transported by rail from Novy Port station to Urtaaul station (Uzbekistan) via the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In total, the cargo covered a distance of 8,200 km. Russian Railways Logistics acted as a shipper, provided formation of the train, coordinated the work of all participants in the transportation process, organized the provision of locomotives and locomotive crews, and made payment of carriage charges in Russia.
International North-SouthTransport Corridor
Due to the shift in focus of Russia's foreign trade relations, there is a growing demand for transportation along the International North-South Transport Corridor covering Russia, Kazakhstan, Central Asia and Transcaucasia, Iran and the Persian Gulf countries.
JSC Russian Railways Logistics is nominated by JSC Russian Railways as a logistics operator and has valid agreements with the main transport and logistics companies of the corridor's member countries (Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Iran and the Russian Federation).
