RZD Logistics’ branch in Kazakhstan strengthens its positions in export-transit transportation of grain and industrial cargo

The branch of JSC RZD Logistics in Kazakhstan shows positive dynamics in the development of export and transit transportation. Over the first six months of 2025 the company provided effective transportation of more than 133 thousand tons of grain crop – nearly 1900 wagons – from stations of Republic of Kazakhstan in transit across the territory of Russian Federation, including delivery across Russian ports to third countries.

High-quality logistics service is the result of effective cooperation of the branch with the participants of transportation process, including railway operators and representatives of export-import business.

Apart from grains, specialized transportation of other agricultural and industrial products has been organized over the first six months of 2025. In particular, the transportation of two container trains with oil seeds from Kazakhstan territory to Rostov-Tovarnyi station.

Additional work on the attraction of new cargo flow – ferrous metal – was carried out. In June 2025, the first consignment of this cargo was organized to Krasnoyarsk-Severnyi station. Moreover, the delivery of 36 large-tonnage containers with molybdenum concentrate to Brest Severnyi station was fulfilled.

“Consigners highly evaluate the quality of transport and logistics services of RZD Logistics and are interested in the development of long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation. We will continue to develop railway logistics within country, as well as in transit along Russia and Central Asia countries. Our branch is ready to solve new logistics tasks and open to partnership with transport market participants”, — noted Director of RZD Logistics branch in Kazakhstan Zhasulan Aliev.
