RZD Logistics launched export shipments from South Port TLC
JSC RZD Logistics has organized a test shipment of the first consignment of refrigerated containers from the South Port TLC, which adjoins Lublino-Sortirovochnaya station, to South-East Asia. The train comprises 10 isothermal containers owned by RZD Logistics and equipped with modern cooling unit Supra 1250, which maintains stable temperature -24°C.
High-tech solutions in multimodal transportation allow to guarantee the safety of cargo that requires temperature control along the whole route of more than 8 thousand kilometers. Reliability of cooling units, energy-efficiency of the equipment and well-organized logistics guarantee uninterrupted cold chain support on each part of the route.
“This project marks next stage in progressive development of the country’s logistics infrastructure, geography expansion of temperature-sensitive cargo transportation and further increase of logistics services’ quality. We are grateful to all partners who took part in the project implementation and are willing to scale it up on the territory of Russia and abroad”, – emphasized adviser to the General Director of JSC RZD Logistics Sergey Levin.
