RZD Logistics launched the railway delivery of pork meat to central China

JSC RZD Logistics organized the first railway delivery of pork meat produced by the company Miratorg to Xian (Shaanxi province) and Chengdu (Sichuan province).

Delivery to the central region of China is fulfilled on a regular basis from Belyi Rast terminal in Moscow region, marking the development of assembled cargo transportation service.

RZD Logistics uses its own autonomous refrigerated containers for the delivery of frozen pork meat in a public mixed train composed of universal and refrigerated containers. Apart from the railway transportation, the range of company’s services includes the auto transportation on the first and last mile.

“The launch of direct railway delivery of Russian pork to China opens a new stage in the development of the assembled cargo transportation in mixed trains. This technology offers all advantages of railway delivery and allows to transport products to central China. We reduce the time of transportation for our clients and expand the route map. Accelerated delivery to large economic centers of China, such as Xian, Chongqing and Chengdu will bring Russian producers closer to Chinese consumers”, – noted the director of container logistics of RZD Logistics Alexander Sivertsev.
