RZD Logistics organized the “door-to-door” delivery of electric autos from China to Russia

JSC RZD Logistics is implementing the project on the direct railway delivery of electric autos in containers from China to Selyatino.

In accordance with a client’s order, the company’s experts have worked out several routes of delivery, as well as several schemes of cars’ placement in universal 40-feet containers, taking into consideration mass and dimensions parameters of each auto.

The complex of provided services includes cars’ acceptance at the terminal in Chengdu and picking up of cargo from the consignor’s warehouse by car transporter trucks, consolidation at the departure station, loading and securing in containers, shipment to a station of destination, customs clearance and complex of terminal services.

According to Federal Customs Service, in 9 months of 2023 the volume of import of Chinese cars to Russia increased by 5 times in comparison to the same period of last year, with the tendency remaining. All aspects of transportation technology have already been tested in the course of project’s implementation.
